Lisa A. McNelis, Esq.
Lisa A. McNelis was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and later moved with her family to Indiana where she grew up. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, in South Bend, Indiana. While attending the University of Notre Dame, Lisa also studied at the University of Innsbruck, in Austria. Lisa received her Law Degree from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School. After Law School, Lisa practiced exclusively Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Law in Ft. Lauderdale with Krupnick, Campbell, Malone, Roselli, and became the firms’ first female partner. After almost twenty years, Lisa left the firm to form a new personal injury lawfirm with her husband, Richard J. Roselli. Lisa A. McNelis and Richard J. Roselli formed ROSELLI & McNELIS, and opened their firm in Boca Raton, Florida. Their new firm was created to provide specialized representation to the injured and their families throughout Florida.
Lisa is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law, since 1996, and has been Recertified consistently since becoming Board Certified. Lisa has also received an “AV” rating, which is the highest rating of legal ability and ethics by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Lisa has been honored to be selected and listed in Florida Superlawyers, recognizing the top 5% of the lawyers in the State of Florida. She has also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law School, where she taught Issues of Insurance Law. Lisa is a Past President of the Broward County Womens Lawyers Association, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.
Lisa is a member of The Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association,the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), and Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers) where she served on the Board of Directors. In addition , she is a member of the Broward County Justice Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, and the Broward County, Palm Beach County and South County (Palm Beach) Bar Associations. Lisa also served, as a member and Chairperson of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee- Group 17C, and as a member and Chairperson of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee- Group 15D.
In addition to teaching at Nova Law School, Lisa is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars on topics including: Motor Vehicle Accident Claims, Insurance Disputes, Auto Insurance Policies, Collateral Sources, and other Trial Practice Topics. Lisa has also been active throughout her career within the community, and has served on the Board of Directors of Family Central, the Board of Directors of Broward County Legal Aid, and on the Board of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Ft. Lauderdale. She is a active member of St. Jude Catholic Church & School where her five children have attended. Lisa also has been honored with her husband, Richard, being named members of the Pillars Society of the Archdiocese of Palm Beach, and are members of the Patron’s Circle of the Florida Grand Opera. Lisa and her husband, Richard Roselli, and their five children live in Boca Raton, Florida.
